Hizbul Islam orders to closure of all offices of Universal TV in Somalia

MOGADISHU (Sh. M. Network) - Mo’allin Hashi Mohamed Farah, the governor of Hizbul Islam organization for Banadir region has held press conference in Mogadishu and ordered the closure of all offices of Universal TV in Somalia.

Mo’alin Hashi said in the press conference that they were very sorry for the visual report that the television released a night before that was offended by the prophet Muhammad (Peace and Bless be Up on Him) and decided to close down all offices of the television in the country.

“From now on, we order all offices and centers of Universal Television in Somalia to be closed or we shall take a step from any office refuses the order. Hizbul Islam are in all areas in the world. It is possible for the Islamists in Somalia to use explosion for the offices of Universal TV that opposes the order from Hizbul Islam,” said Mo’allin Hashi


The governor had sent an advice message to the owner of the Television threatening that they would take step from the reporter that sent the report offended to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the television warning for any reporter that covers reports to the TV from Somalia until later.

“We like to send a message to the owner, the directors and the editors of the television to repent from the offending and what they had released from the television. Really that Television was a TV we had liked so much, but what it had released could not be something that could be worked until it regrets, then it could work and we shall attack to any reporter sent a news to the TV from Somalia as attacked the great infidel that our Prophet Muhammad insulted at his house,” said Mo’allin Hashi.

The statement of Mo’allin Hashi follows another statement from the spokesman of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe (Sheik Ali Dere) who said that they had cut all relations with Universal TV as it released a report that was offended to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and caused more Muslims to be annoyed thought the television had paid an apologize from the report.

Al-Shabaab: ‘Universal TV is an icon fighting against with Islam’

MOGADISHU (Sh. M. Network) – Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe better known as (Sheik Ali Dere), the spokesman of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen has Sunday held press conference in and said they had totally halted any collaboration with Universal Television. The spokesman told reporters in his press conference that the Somali spoken TV Universal Television had overnight covered pictures offending to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which one of the news papers based in published pointing out that the TV was an icon fighting against with the Islamists

Sheik Ali Dere said that the matter showed that it was part of spreading the offenses against the Muslims and the Islamic religion adding that it might result more people to offend the obligated things simply.

The spokesman also said that the report could be translated as the fighting against the Muslims in the world and to insult the prophet Muhammad (Peace and Bless be Up on Him) and all Muslims and Somalis to see it nothing or ignored. He called for the TV to return the decision they had released the insulting report asserting they would halt any relation with the TV.

“It is the first time that the TV takes part offensives against the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) which the infidels want it to be ordinary thing and can be insulted. We call all the Muslims to be careful and know that Universal TV is part of the fighting against the Muslims. It is also attacked the Muslims and insulted prophet Muhammad (PBUH),” said Sheik Ali Mohamud Raghe.

The spokesman said that the information department of Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen had taken a decision from the report of Universal TV as the prophet insulted adding that they call for the TV to repent from doing it and confirm that they had committed crimes against the Islamic religion pointing out that they would take another step if they did not return and pay apologizing from the crime.

“If we are Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen, we decided to halt any relation ship that we had with Universal TV until they admit their crime and then repent. Before that, there will no be any collaboration between us. Then we shall look any reaction from the TV. What you had done was apostate if you know or not. It is, the prophet Muhammad insulted, offended. We are saying to you repent to Allah,” added Sheik Ali Dere.

However, the statement of Harakat Al-shahabab Mujahideen comes as the Somali language spoken Television Universal TV had covered a report from overnight that was showing people complaining about cartons pictures abused the prophet Muhammad (PBUP).
