U.S. analyst tells why U.S. unleashes new wars in the world

US analyst Thomas Barnett explains why the US unleashed, is unleashing, and will unleash new wars. The article, written in 2003, served as a basis for the book, published under the same title. The explanations, given by Barnett almost ten years ago, are more evident nowdays.

Since the end of the cold war, the United States has been trying to come up with an operating theory of the world--and a military strategy to accompany it. Now there's a leading contender.
