The talk about Shaam, is a talk of sorrow… a talk of history, and men and battles and happenings and plans and politics and knowledge and inspiration and heroism and elegance and genius and cunning and invention and creation and innovation. Shaam and what do you know what Shaam is!! The Best of the soldiers on earth ‘Abdullah bin Hawalah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “You will prepare some armies: an army for Shaam, an army for Iraq, and an army for Yemen.” So, ‘Abdullah said: “Choose one for me, O Messenger of Allah!” So, he said: “Go to Shaam. Whomever is unable to do so should go to Yemen, as Allah Mighty and Majestic – has sufficed for me Shaam and its people.” ).”(Ahmad and Abu Dawood and Hakim and declared Sahih and was agreed to by Dahabi, and declared Sahih by Albani in his Fadaail Ash Shaam, and he said: very Sahih Hadith)) Rabi’ah said: “I heard Aba Idris narrating this hadith and saying: “Whoever is sufficed by Allah can never be lost.” Shaam… is the land of knowledge and faith On the authority of Abdullah bin Amroo- May Allah be pleased with them- said, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ‘I saw the Column of the Book being taken away from under my headrest. My eyes followed the Column of the Book. It was a brilliant light in front of me. Then I saw it was placed in Al-Shaam. When the dissension takes place belief shall be in Al-Shaam ".(Narrated by Abu Naeem in Al Heela and Ibn Asakir and Tabarani in Kabeer and Awsaat and Hakim and declared it Sahih and was agreed to by Dhabi, and declared Sahih by Albani in Fadaail As Shaam) and Umar – May Allah be pleased with him- said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “I saw a column of light, that came from below my headrest, shining brightly until it stabilized in Shaam ”(Al Baihaqi in Dalail Al nubuwah, and declared Sahih by Albani in Sahih Al Jami) The land of spreading out on the Day of Judgment On the authority of Abu Zarr – May Allah be pleased with him- said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Al -Shaam is the land of final assembly and the land of Resurrection." And on the authority of Salim bin Abdullah from his father – May Allah be pleased with him- said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “A fire will emerge at the end of time from Hadramawt, and it will gather the people together.” The Companions asked: “So, what do you command us to do, O Messenger of Allah?” He (peace be upon him) replied: “Go to Shaam.”(Ahmad and Ibn Haban and Tirmidhi who declared it Sahih, also declared Sahih by Albani in Fadaail As Shaam) The Best place for migration On the authority of Abdullah bin Amroo- May Allah be pleased with them- said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say “There will be hijrah after hijrah, and the best people of Earth will be those who most closely follow the hijrah of Ibrahim (to Shaam) and there will remain on earth the worst of its people, their lands will throw them, and Allah’s Nafas will hate them (i.e. Allah will hate their hijrah and thus hold them back- Ibn Atheer), and the fire shall gather them with the monkeys and the pigs” (Abu Daud and Hakim and Ahmad and Ahmad Shakir :its chain is Sahih and Albani said in Sahih Targheeb and Tarheeb: Sahih) There is no good in us if the people of Shaam corrupt On the authority of Qurra bin Iyaas Al Mazni said: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “If the people of Shaam become corrupt, there is no good in you. ”(Ahmad and ibn Majah and Ibn Habban and At Tyalsi, and Tirmidhi and said: Hasan Sahih, Albani declared its chain as Sahih in Fadaail Ash Shaam and in Sahih Tirmidhi) The people of Truth And from the Hadith of Saad bin Abi Waqqas, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said "The people of the west (ahl algharb) will know the truth until the Hour comes. "(Muslim and others) And Albani said, “The People of west are the people of Shaam,” as was said by Imam Ahmad and supported by Sheikh Al Islam Ibn At Taymiyyah in Fadaail Ash Shaam wa Ahluh, from two points First- that being clearly stated in some Ahadith. Second- that his language- peace be upon him- and the people of his Madinah are the people of West, that they are people of Ash Shaam (See Fadaail Ash Shaam and Dimashq for Albani). And from the Hadith of Abu Hurayrah relates that the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] said, ‘’A group of my community will not cease to fight holding on to the order of Allah, the Almighty, the betrayal or desertion of whomever deserts them will not harm them in the least, fighting its enemies, every time a war ends, a war with another people will ensue, Allah will restrain away the hearts of a people to sustain them with it, until the Final Hour comes, like a portion of dark night, and they will get scared by it, until they shall wear for it shields’, and the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, ‘They are the people of Shaam’ and then the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed with his finger to Shaam until he tired it’’ (Saheeh: Silsila al Ahadith As Saheeha) The blessed land Read more » NOTE: Posting of this material it is shared for information only
