Twin bombing in Paktika kill and wound 25 U.S. and Afghan troops

Paktika, Mar. 16 - Saifullah and Muhammad Rahman, two martyrdom-seeking Mujahideen of the Islamic
Emirate, in near-simultaneous martyr bomb attacks on a U.S base in the province's Dirmal district inflicted loss of life and injuries on 25 Afghan and American soldiers on Monday, Mar. 15, 2010.
According to the details, the two brave martyr attackers, disguised as Afghan soldiers who were armed with machine guns, hand grenades and explosive vests, entering the base opened firing at the joints Afghan and U.S soldiers stationed int the base and after a one-and-a-half hour long resistance against the enemy exploded themselves, killing and wounding scores of U.S. and Afghan soldiers.
The report adds the twin bombings and gunfights, which also left several soldiers dead, caused the enemy losses of material and a number of Afghan and foreign officials are reported to have been in the facility during the gun battle and bombings but their death and injury toll is unclear yet.
In fact, on Mar. 10, 2010, a VBIED ( car bomb attack ) by Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate on a U.S base, known as Marghi Campaign, killed some 24 U.S and Afghan soldiers in the same district of Paktika province, however, the provincial officials confirmed the death of only 5 soldiers.
